  • Does using a mobile mechanic cost more than taking my car to a workshop?

Not usually, no. In many cases, as mobile mechanics we have less overheads than workshops, which allows us to offer lower prices.

Not only that, our mechanics coming to your home or business will also save you time and hassle.

  • Will using you for my logbook service void my warranty?

No, your dealer warranty is still valid even if you don't return to the dealer for your service. This allows you to have your vehicle serviced in the convenience of your own home by our expert mechanics at competitive prices.

  • How long does a general service usually take?

Service times will vary from vehicle to vehicle, as each manufacturer has their own specific recommendations for things that need to be checked.

As an estimate, a general service will take approximately 1.5 hours, and a major service will take approximately 3 hours.

  • Do you charge for travel time?

No, we don't. At Central Coast Mobile Automotive Repairs, we only charge for the time we spend working on your vehicle, or parts as needed. In that case, we aim to be as upfront as possible with any additional costs to order parts.

  • I can hear a clicking noise when I start my car. What is it?

A noise like this can often be the result of the battery terminal becoming dirty or corroded. The best way to prevent this is to ensure the terminal is always kept clean.

If the noise persists, call us to book a service for your vehicle.
